St. Andrews Stained Glass Window

Recently, the Destin History and Fishing Museum was gifted some important artifacts from the congregation of St. Andrew’s By-The-Sea Episcopal Church. In addition to the stained glass window of St Andrew, we received the church bell, and a cherished, handmade communion set.

Saint Andrew is the patron saint of fisherman and all those make their living on the seas.  We believe this window, and what it signifies to Destin citizens and those who work our harbor, both past and present, is in keeping with our ongoing mission to preserve and to promote the history of our fishing industry.  The museum appreciates these donations and wish to thank the congregation for their generosity.
