The Destin History and Fishing Museum Celebrates the City’s 25th Anniversary

The Destin History and Fishing Museum is celebrating the City’s 25th anniversary November 1st through November 8th. Admission is half price during the City’s celebration week. On Friday, November 6, a day set aside with special activities planned by the Destin Community Center, museum admission will be free. Come experience the exciting and educational exhibits detailing early Destin life and its founders, while observing the photos and artifacts chronicling the evolution of Destin’s fishing industry. The museum has 4,000 square feet of exhibit space, over 60 mounts of locally caught fish, and has scavenger hunts for learners of “all ages”. Come see Destin’s history “Shining Brightly” during the City’s 25th anniversary.
